Ja bym powiedział iż w związku z tym iż jest to leciwy już model M51Va nie oczekuj że producent będzie zapewniał do niego wsparcie przez długie lata czego zresztą żaden producent nie robi o zdrowych zmysłach. Jedyne dedykowane drivery są dla XP i Visty. Wystarczy iż urządzenie np wlan posiada nieco inny identyfikator sprzętowy nadany tylko asusowi (może się różnić paroma kwestiami technicznymi niewidocznymi dla użytkownika) i instalator z centrum pobierania intela nie wykryje urządzenia. Identycznie jest z referencyjnymi sterownikami grafiki do laptopów - do niektórych nie da się ich zainstalować a ogólnie nie zaleca tego robić wcale tylko odwiedzić stronę producenta laptopa.
